Complete Auto Care — And More

Akonic Garage works on all makes and models. We do not currently offer transmission work, wheel/tire service, or audio installation.

Maintenance & General Repair

Oil service, fluids, tune-ups, spark plugs, belts, hoses, batteries, scheduled maintenance, inspections and everyday repairs.

Diagnostics & Electrical

Check-engine lights, no-starts, charging systems, wiring, sensors, lighting, parasitic draws and drivability concerns.

Engine

Engine repair and replacement, timing work, gaskets, oil leaks, cooling concerns, mounts and related mechanical work.

Brakes

Pads, rotors, calipers, fluid service, lines, hoses, master cylinders, parking brakes and ABS-related diagnosis.

Our Story

Built From A Dream

Akonic Garage started as a dream long before there was ever a shop to call home. Before Akonic had a permanent location, Armando worked as a mobile mechanic throughout the Inland Empire, helping people with their cars wherever the job took him.

Along the way, Alex came around first as a friend who shared the same passion for cars. He started by working on his own cars, then began helping out and became part of what Armando was building — even before Akonic had a shop of its own.

The road to opening the garage came with successes, failures, setbacks and lessons. Eventually, the dream became reality: Akonic Garage.

The name itself comes from Iconic, with the A representing Armando and the K giving Akonic its own identity.

Today, Armando and Alex are the two people behind the garage, working side by side to keep everything moving. Whether the job is big or small, they take pride in the work because cars are more than a business here — they’re a passion.

“We’re a garage, not just a repair shop. If it’s car-related, we’ll do everything we can to help. And if we don’t have the answer, we’ll find it.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an appointment?

Yes. All visits to Akonic Garage are by appointment. Request a date through the website or call (951) 425-8959. Online requests are not confirmed until you hear back from us.

Do you work on all makes and models?

Yes. Akonic Garage works on all makes and models. For unusual vehicles or custom projects, call us and tell us what you have in mind.

Can I bring my own parts?

Yes, but call us first so we can confirm the parts and job before you bring them in.

Do you install aftermarket and performance parts?

Yes. We handle aftermarket parts, performance upgrades, suspension modifications, exhaust work, engine swaps and other automotive projects.

Do you perform official smog checks?

No. We are not an official Smog Check station, but we can inspect the vehicle, diagnose emissions-related problems, perform repairs and help get the vehicle smog-ready before the official inspection.

Do you offer towing?

No. If the vehicle cannot be driven to the garage, towing must be arranged separately. Please contact us before having a vehicle delivered.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major forms of payment. Cash and Zelle are preferred.

Do repairs come with a warranty?

Parts purchased by Akonic Garage through our vendors include applicable parts and labor warranty coverage. Terms vary by part and repair. Customer-supplied parts are not covered by Akonic Garage, and associated labor has a 2-day labor warranty.

Can I drop my vehicle off?

Yes, with approval first. Space is limited, so please do not leave a vehicle without confirmation from Akonic Garage.

What if I don’t know what’s wrong with my car?

That’s fine. Tell us what you’re experiencing — warning lights, noises, leaks, vibrations, overheating, loss of power or anything else — and we’ll determine the next step.

I don’t see the service I need listed. Can you still help?

Give us a call. We do much more than what can fit on a website. If it’s car-related, talk to us. If we don’t have the answer, we’ll find out.
